The children were delighted to spot a beautiful Common Blue butterfly fluttering around our wildflower bank this week. This striking butterfly, with its bright blue wings, is a wonderful sign that our wildflower area is providing an important habitat for local wildlife and pollinators.
Our wildflower bank is full of nectar-rich plants which attract butterflies, bees and other insects throughout the summer months. Seeing the Common Blue butterfly reminded us of the importance of protecting biodiversity and creating spaces where nature can thrive.
